Outreach

Outreach is one of those vague terms one hears all the time. What does it mean? Well, it means to reach out. Gateway is passionate about doing for others. We do this by extending a hand up to those in need within our own church and community, or by helping with God's work in other countries.

The 4F club is a practical way to show compassion.  Did you know you can feed a family of four for forty dollars for at least four days? Pick up your list in the lobby.

Each year we have several local campaigns to raise awareness and funds for global missions.  Whether it is by traveling on a Work and Witness team, giving to Faith Promise, or bringing in change-filled boxes for the semiannual Alabaster offerings, Gateway's congregation is always so generous.

In addition to prayer and financial support, try picking up a missionary book in the church lobby. Books are also available to download to your favorite device. See Elsie or Joan at the book booth for details.

Faith in Motion (FIM) is Gateway’s partnership with Riverside County Children’s Services division. This ministry is a bridge linking our congregation with the needs of foster children and families in our community that need support and encouragement. There are many ways that we can be involved: praying for a specific child; helping collect and deliver items; becoming foster and adoptive parents.

If you have any questions, please send an email to faithinmotion@gatewaynaz.org.

The Bread of Life Food Pantry is available on an as-needed  basis for families in our community and church family who need emergency assistance with groceries.  If you have an emergency  need, please come to the Church Office during office hours to fill out an information card and receive a bag of groceries.  If you are a regular part of the Gateway Church family, please call or stop by the Church Office--951-461-0221.

Gateway Prison Ministry is a specialized  ministry that reaches out to the incarcerated in the Southwest Juvenile Center and the Southwest Detention Center with Bible study & worship.  This ministry is always in need of spiritually  mature men & women to go to SW Juvenile facility and men to go to SW Men’s Jail on a rotation basis.  Our teams go to SW Juvenile on Monday & Thursday nights, 7:00 to 8:00 pm, and to SW Men’s Jail on Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm, and Sunday afternoons at 12 noon.  Please contact the church office if you would like to be considered for this ministry.  A background check is done by the State of California for any person involved in this ministry.
