Our Mission is to develop Christlike followers of Jesus.
Our Vision is to engage the people of greater Southwest Riverside County in creative and innovative ways, providing an inclusive community where each person can belong, believe, and become.
First, we Belong.
- God created us for a purpose and Christ has already died for us. When we proclaim: “Belong!” we are proclaiming that (1) everyone belongs in God’s story and (2) that everyone already belongs in our church.
Second, we Believe.
- When we realize that we belong to God, we come to believe in Him. Belief is growth in knowledge of the Gospel. In a church setting, belief can be nurtured in many ways: Sunday School, Bible studies, Small Groups (belonging and believing are both strong in that one). Initiatives like “reading the Bible in a year” also encourage personal growth in belief.
Finally, we Become.
- As we belong to God and one another in the church, and as we grow in belief, God will continue to form us into who He desires us to be. This is epitomized in the word “become.” We are constantly becoming who God wants us to be. As we grow, we do things like serving others and the church and leading others to Christ.
